Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents of Mercer and Hunterdon County of New Jersey. Thanks to the generous support of the County of Mercer, Office on Aging and Disability Resource Connection, we've established a program that goes beyond just events – it's about fostering connections and breaking down social barriers.
Events Offered by Community Connections
INCLUSIVE RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES
Through our Community Connections Program, we offer a fully accessible range of recreational activities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can participate in a variety of engaging events. Our aim is to increase access to social opportunities in and around Mercer County, providing a platform for individuals with disabilities to thrive.

EXCITING EVENTS:
Step into the beauty of Mercer County Park with our annual picnic by Lake Mercer, featuring pontoon boat rides and hands-on sports activities. Experience the thrill of our fully accessible annual softball game at the Miracle League Field, or join us for spectator-friendly events, including trips to Trenton Thunder, Globetrotters, and the NJ Trenton Devils. For those less inclined towards outdoor or sporting activities, we also organize trips to museums, the Camden Aquarium, local theater shows, and even travel to New York City for captivating musicals!
