Our Mission

Who We Are

The Progressive Center for Independent Living, Inc., (PCIL), founded by individuals with disabilities and family of people with disabilities, is a private not-for-profit community-based organization dedicated to the mission of providing programs and services to people with disabilities and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities since 1996. Through promotion of choice, self-direction, and inclusion, PCIL partners with people with disabilities and their families to achieve and maintain independent lifestyles and to ensure the same freedoms and civil liberties as everyone else.
