About the Event
This peer-led discussion centers on self-protection and personal safety in everyday life. Participants will explore topics such as staying safe online, setting healthy boundaries in relationships, recognizing and avoiding fraud or scams, and protecting personal information. The group will also discuss the importance of emotional well-being and share strategies for managing stress, building confidence, and seeking support when needed. Through open conversation and shared experiences, participants are encouraged to learn from one another, ask questions, and strengthen skills that promote safety, independence, and self-advocacy.
The LTDL Peer Support Group is a peer-to-peer group that discusses a range of topics allowing you to look through the lenses of individuals living with disabilities.
