Topic: Recognizing Stress in Everyday Life
Join us for an evening of conversation, learning, and connection at PCIL Mercer’s Life Through Different Lenses Peer Group. In recognition of Stress Awareness Month, this session will focus on recognizing how stress shows up in everyday situations.
Participants will explore real-life examples of stress through media clips and group discussion. Together, the group will talk about common stress triggers and identify healthy ways individuals can respond to challenges in their environment.
This peer-led group welcomes people of all abilities and encourages self-expression, shared experiences, and mutual support in an inclusive environment.
Peer groups like this help reduce isolation, build confidence, and strengthen independent living skills by creating space for meaningful conversation and connection among people with disabilities and community members across Mercer County and Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
